Can’t Pick Between Trump v. Clinton Because Both Are Shit? FUCK YOU.

Hey guys. I mentioned last week I was making a stew, and this was going to be a bit about the 3rd party candidates, but then Johnny Boy went and did that for me. I was going to therefore just write this article off and not do it. Then the 3rd debate happened, and something clicked off in my brain. Because there are still people who are saying that both options are equally terrible, and it’s really just deciding which knee the arrow goes into. I have a clear message to said people. Fuck you, you insolent piece of human garbage.

I realize that may seem harsh, I mean using human piece of garbage before the fold is quite a statement. I will however attempt to back up my feelings with actual prose and understanding. With that in mind let’s break down into the 3 main points of why you think your vote is either meaningless, or that any vote you cast is the ‘lesser of two evils’.

1. Both options suck, time for protest vote or I truly believe in Gary Johnson and/or Jill Stein.

Okay. so there’s a lot to unpack there, but let’s begin. Neither candidate is perfect, and to be honest neither is exactly great. Gary Johnson while certainly more qualified then his Green party colleague is more experienced has sh0wn multiple times a lack of intelligence and temperament to be president. While that may feel petty compared to the current Rebplician nominee – it is still a fact. His direction on which agencies and how he plans to dismantle them are at best vague, and at worst idiotic. (This coming from someone who wishes for smaller government).

Jill Stein is if anything (thankfully polls show this) worse. Her ideological views can be best described as a ride-along to Bernie Sanders. Here’s the issues. I voted and supported Bernie Sanders. I did so though because he didn’t pander to anti-vax or 9-11 truthers to suit himself. That his views weren’t political in the current climate, but things he’d been fighting for since he worked in govt. Most of all though Bernie Sanders you can call idealistic, or unrealistic. The man knew though how government worked, he knew how it would be possible to get things done, and even though he will not be our president he is still fighting. He supports Clinton for the same reason anyone should – because Donald Trump is a narcissistic sociopath more likely to destroy our great country. Jill Stein however has none of the experience, none of the record, and quite frankly I fail to see why Bernie supporters have latched onto her, as she seems like nothing more than a slimy politician trying to ride to coattails of someone else.

2. He’s a child, but she’s a liar.

Sigh. Okay. So I am going to be as civil as humanly possible, because anyone who is thinking ‘eh Clinton had the email thing, maybe I should vote Trump’ is trying to goad me into punching their fucken face. Let’s make a few things clear. Clinton’s emails have been cleared by the FBI, and even if at worst case every single nasty thing was true it basically means she made a unintended mistake. Now you can say ‘harumph, harumph therefore she should not be president’ let me make something crystal fucken clear.

If your reason for voting Trump over Clinton is because you don’t trust Clinton – you are either dumb or sexist.

The fact of the matter is that most of Clinton’s emails, while classified were harmless. Even her Wikileaks of talks she gave to banks when you read the content instead of saying ‘she’s colluding with world banks’ is for the most part benign or at worst showing a play of the political game. Now if facing off against a perfect candidate this would surely be the final straws, the reason to vote against. There is a problem though.

Donald Trump is a sociopathic shitbag

You can make your claims now about me being a shill or paid off by Clinton, but here’s the fucken facts. Clinton faced with her emails admits that she handled it poorly, and that while no court has convicted – it was ethically in a gray zone and therefore wrong.

Donald Trump’s charity dollars bought a painting of himself that he has in his building. He has not denied this outright, and when asked starts getting into the weeds of what he considers an ‘acceptable charitable purchase is’. Donald Trump has multiple times been called out on the lies he has said – he has on numerous occasions have someone quote directly from him, only to reply – ‘I never said that.’

Listen folks, let me make this easy for you. If you acknowledge that you may have said the wrong thing, or made a mistake, but you correct it, you inform that your position has changed – you are a person. A rational human being. If however you deny this despite all and numerous evidence to the contrary – you are either an outright liar or a monster.

I don’t know what ‘telling it like it is’ is like where you come from, but if I hear you say the sky is orange, and later you start telling people “I never said that” – well I have a word to describe you –  and it’s shitbag two-faced liar.

So you tell me you can’t vote for Clinton because you don’t trust her? I ain’t got a fucken idea what the fuck you’re talking about.

3. I’m apathetic, I don’t care, my vote is meaningless anyway, who cares?

Okay, shit son you have gotten this far and still feel this way. First off if you think your vote is meaningless, and that there is no point – then calmly please continue to never participate in any election because you have clearly checked out. I know, I should be encouraging you to vote. The problem is if what you say is true, you don’t believe in fair democratic elections, you think that the world is a massive conspiracy and rigging that will move on without you. There’s likely nothing I can do to change you idiotic mindset. I mean yes things like elections for President have come down to ~500 people in a state, but hey, it don’t matter y’all.

I truly say you should just cut yourself off from any democratic process though because quite frankly you might be too stupid to effectively vote. Honestly I started this article complaining about people trying to protest vote for shitty candidates when the alternative is Donald Trump (digression: yes I realize some of you may think this is exactly my point and that we shouldn’t be voting simply to be against Donald Trump despite our options, and while I agree with you the simple fact of the matter is that you are voting against a woman who has experience as a senator, secretary of state, and first lady and a man who’s response to nuclear weapons is – have fun using them to defend yourself folks.)

Here is the simple fact though, and right now I am speaking to everyone who would vote for Jill Stein, or Gary Johnson, or Donald Trump, or writing in Bernie Sanders.

  • No candidate is perfect.
  • Gary Johnson and Jill Stein are terrible choices for president based on their lack of experience, their inability to accurately describe their core policies line-by-line, and by not having a set of values and issues that truly represents the core of American voters.
  • Donald Trump is garbage can fire of a person. He has been negative to women, hispanics, muslims, POW’s, disabled, LGBTQ, and so much more.
  • Even if everything about Clinton was true, Donald Trump is just as much a liar and a cheat with his personal life, his charity, and his businesses.
  • That if you are not voting for Clinton it’s either because you are stupid and naive to vote for terrible 3rd party candidates, that despite a mountain of evidence you somehow think Trump is more ‘trustworthy’ than Clinton, you are some rejected butthurt Bernie-bro that even though he has a high potential for doing a lot of good under a Clinton presidency, and he himself has made his decision – that you care nothing for the man himself and only what you want him to stand for so you will throw away your vote. Finally though there is the last reason you would not vote for Clinton, and it’s the same if not moreso than voting against Barack Obama. It’s because Hillary Clinton is a woman. A woman with differing thoughts and feelings on issues that you have, a woman who has been in politics much of her life, a woman who has through multiple jobs and titles done what she could for the American people.

Honestly folks. I am not a Hilary supporter. I have not been there since day 1 claiming the flag of Clinton. I debated not even writing this because of how political it got. There was a reason though. It’s because even now, even after all we know, all the debates, all the scandals – there are still people who say it’s a choice between getting shot or stabbed.

And if it hasn’t been made clear by the above, let me reiterate. Fuck you.

Fuck you and your mentality that you can ‘protest vote’ in an election where so much is riding on the line if Trump is elected.

Fuck you for saying that because of a single scandal we can dismiss a candidate despite the opponent calling Mexican’s rapists at the opening statements.

Fuck you for thinking that a man who has sexually assaulted women, thinks their mood is affected by blood coming out of there ‘whatever’, is the best person to appoint supreme court justices.

Fuck you for thinking that a qualified woman with years of experience in government is no better than a man who has advocated national espionage, threatened potential violence, incarceration, and rigging by his opponent, and has started multiple social media fights against women, people of color, supreme court justices, reporters, etc.

Truly though, fuck you.

This isn’t some damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation. You either vote with the man who’s attitude towards nuclear weapons is that we should be building more, or you waste your vote trying to send a message that’s lost on candidates who are not worthy of being president, or you vote for the woman who is the most qualified to take the job, and most likely to succeed, or you say nothx.jpg because she doesn’t feel trustworthy.

Because in all honesty let me make one thing very clear. I am not a paid-for, day-1, Hillary supporter, but if you say she is just as bad as Trump to be practically the same choice? FUCK. YOU.

Anyway, I’m sorry, but that just happens to be how I feel about it. What do you think?
